This is why comprehensive public relation activities that accompany the project are of utmost importance. Particularly for decision makers the work forms an important basis for communicating with the population.

A communication concept that was generated in the context of the project guarantees that information will reach their audience in a target-oriented manner. This will be facilitated via the MONITRAF website, the project logo and by organizing meetings and conferences for presenting results before an expert audience and the interested public. Based on the experiences in the context of the project, also comprehensive teaching materials will be generated and made accessible. The objective of public relations measures is to also create awareness on part of the population and the decision makers in respect to the impact of Alpine road traffic.
